2025 Egwani Farms Junior Invitational  

Notice to Competitors

 

1. If you need a ruling or have a question call 865-323-9181.

2. Boys will play from the gold tees. Girls will play from the white tees. Girls will play from a modified tee on hole 11. The gold tee for boys will be moved up to the blue tee box on 6 and 11. 

​

3. Any group that is more than a hole behind the forward group may be asked to take measures to speed up play. 
 

4. Disruptive or unsportsmanlike behavior is subject to penalty and disqualification.

​

5. Each player has a responsibility to the entire field to score a competitor’s scorecard in a timely and accurate manner. Please score the cards at the next tee after each hole. Players should report to the scorer’s table immediately upon completion of play. 

​

6. There are many lateral penalty areas on Egwani. Some are marked by a red line or stake, some are not. Please review proper options (4) regarding red penalty areas. WE ARE GOING TO CHOOSE THE OPTION TO MAKE ALL TALL GRASSES RED PENALTY AREAS. ALL UNMOWED TALL GRASSES WILL BE PLAYED AS LATERAL RED PENALTY AREAS. CALL THE NUMBER ABOVE IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION. ALL WATER HAZARD ARE ALSO RED PENALTY AREAS.

7. The only out of bounds is the fence and road on number 2. The road on number 10 and 11 is a red penalty area. 

 

8. There will be a drop circle at the bottom of the hill on hole Number 11. The girls will play from an ALTERNATE tee at the top of the hill and this hole will play as a par 4. Any tee shot that goes into a penalty area for these groups, the next shot MUST be played from the drop zone at the bottom of the hill with the one shot penalty. For boys any shot after their tee shot over the hill that finds the penalty area must also play from the drop circle at the bottom of the hill. Also on 11 for all groups there is ground under repair inside of a roped area on the right. You may take free relief where indicated.

9. The rules of golf as defined in the “USGA Rules of Golf 2025-26” will be the rules in play for this tournament. Call the number above if you need a ruling. 

 

10. Please silence your cell phones and use them only for a ruling or to check the notice. 

​

11. Range balls are included in your fee and will be provided. Please limit yourself to one basket before your round. 

​

12. Spectator Carts will be for rent. These carts may be in short supply. Egwani is an easy walk. We encourage all spectators to keep carts on the cart path at all times. Egwani's carts are computer controlled and if you try to drive through many open areas your cart will SHUT OFF.

13. Range finders are permitted in this tournament. 

 

14. Rides on a cart are permitted from the 9th green to the 10th tee and from 18 to 1.

 

 Rides can be given by any cart for a lost ball or a ball out of bounds. The ride should be from the area of the lost ball back to the previous spot and back only. No other rides are permitted.

 

15. We are allowing caddies in this event. It is nice to be able to allow caddies. All caddies need to be aware of their responsibility for pace of play and etiquette. Please review the caddy policy on the website.
