The Egwani Farms Junior Invitational
October 28-29, 2023
1. The Egwani Farms Junior Invitational is an open invitational for girls 14-18 (younger girls have played, just contact Rob) and boys in two divisions 12-14 and 15-18.
2. The event will be a 36 hole stroke play event with 18 holes to be played on each of October 29 and October 30.
3. The girls will be playing from just over 5833 yards with a course rating of 74.2 from the white tees
The 12-14 boys will be playing from 6150 yards with a course rating of 72.6 from the blue tees.
The 15-18 boys will be playing from 6708 yards with a course rating of 74.3 from the gold tees. Tees will be moved to the blue on 6, 7 and 16.
4. We do allow cadddies. Caddies must be at least 14 years old and be well aware of golf rules and etiquette. Please review the caddy policy page.
5. If you are traveling from out of town, there are several hotels within three miles of the golf course. The Courtyard by Marriot has changed owners. I am currently having trouble finding another host hotel.
6. The tournament will follow all rules according the USGA rules of golf 2023-24. Any local rules will be added to the hard card and will given to the players prior to the first round. With so many changes please be familiar with the NEW rules.
7. A "Notice to Competitors" will be given prior to the first round and should be reviewed by players and caddy.
8. Registered competitors will be added to the website and a list will be posted no later than Sept 28.
9. A tentative schedule of the event will be posted on Oct. 5 and many other annoucements will be forth coming
The tournament will be held at Egwani Farms Golf Course in Rockford TN.
